REFUND POLICY

Overview

Creative Slingers of Ink invests time, resources, administrative work, event planning, promotional efforts, marketing activities, and member benefits immediately upon payment.

Because work often begins behind the scenes as soon as payment is received, all payments made to Creative Slingers of Ink are non-refundable.

By submitting payment, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy, the Membership Terms, event policies, and all applicable participation requirements.

Memberships

Membership fees are non-refundable.

This applies to both monthly and annual memberships.

Monthly memberships automatically renew each month until cancelled by the member.

Annual memberships automatically renew each year until cancelled by the member.

Members may cancel future renewals at any time; however, no refunds will be issued for payments already made.

Monthly members will retain access to membership benefits through the end of their current billing period.

Annual members will retain access to membership benefits through the end of their current membership term.

No full or partial refunds will be issued for annual memberships.

Events

Event fees, participation fees, sponsorship fees, exhibitor fees, advertising fees, and similar payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by Creative Slingers of Ink.

Once payment is received, administrative work, event planning, marketing, promotional activities, participant coordination, and related event preparation may begin immediately.

Failure to Use Benefits

Memberships and event participation provide access to opportunities, resources, and benefits.

Participation in those opportunities is the responsibility of the member or participant.

Creative Slingers of Ink communicates available opportunities and benefits through its website, email communications, newsletters, social media, and other official channels.

Failure to utilize available benefits, attend events, participate in programs, submit promotional materials, access resources, schedule available opportunities, or otherwise take advantage of available benefits does not qualify for a refund, credit, or adjustment.

Membership fees are paid for access to opportunities and benefits, not for any guaranteed level of participation, promotion, visibility, sales, publication, attendance, or individual results.

Exceptional Circumstances

Creative Slingers of Ink understands that emergencies, illness, family matters, severe weather, and other unforeseen circumstances may occur.

Requests related to exceptional circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Creative Slingers of Ink.

Any exception granted in one situation does not establish an obligation to provide future refunds, credits, or accommodations.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Credit card charges from Creative Slingers of Ink may appear on billing statements as “CSIWG,” “CREAT SLING OF INK,” or similar variations associated with Creative Slingers of Ink.

 

Members, authors, artists, vendors, sponsors, and participants agree to contact Creative Slingers of Ink directly with any billing questions or concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

 

If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed:

  • Memberships are immediately suspended.
  • Access to member benefits and resources is immediately revoked.
  • Participation in events, programs, and promotional opportunities is immediately cancelled.
  • Authors, artists, vendors, and sponsors are removed from event advertising, promotional materials, website listings, newsletters, and marketing efforts.
  • Reserved event spaces, tables, booths, speaking opportunities, and participation spots are forfeited and reassigned.

Creative Slingers of Ink does not hold event space, membership benefits, promotional placements, or participation opportunities while a dispute is pending.

 

Creative Slingers of Ink actively disputes chargebacks believed to be invalid and may provide supporting documentation including invoices, agreements, registration records, communications, website policies, event participation records, and evidence of services provided.

 

Chargeback investigations may require up to 90 days or longer to be resolved depending on the payment processor or financial institution involved.

 

Creative Slingers of Ink does not pause business operations, event planning, promotional schedules, membership administration, marketing activities, or participant replacements while a dispute is under review.

 

If a chargeback is resolved in favor of Creative Slingers of Ink:

No refund is issued.

  • Previously forfeited event participation is not reinstated.
  • Previously forfeited promotional opportunities are not reinstated.
  • Previously forfeited table assignments, event spaces, booths, and participation opportunities are not restored.
  • Membership privileges remain subject to the discretion of Creative Slingers of Ink.

Filing a chargeback does not preserve membership status, event participation, promotional benefits, event placement, or future opportunities with Creative Slingers of Ink.
