Unless otherwise specifically stated, participation in Creative Slingers of Ink memberships, events, author opportunities, artist opportunities, promotional programs, and related activities is intended for individuals age 18 and older.
Certain programs, such as Writing Sessions, may permit participation by minors with appropriate parental permission and compliance with program-specific requirements.

Users agree to use the website lawfully and respectfully.

Participant Content
Authors, artists, vendors, sponsors, speakers, and other participants retain ownership of their original work.
By submitting content, photographs, biographies, promotional materials, artwork, logos, event information, or other materials to Creative Slingers of Ink, participants grant Creative Slingers of Ink permission to use, reproduce, display, publish, and distribute such materials for event promotion, membership benefits, directories, social media, newsletters, websites, marketing materials, and related promotional purposes.
AI Content Policy
Participation in Creative Slingers of Ink is subject to compliance with the AI Content Policy.
AI-generated writing, AI-generated artwork, AI-generated book covers, AI-generated illustrations, AI-generated promotional materials, and other AI-generated creative works are prohibited as outlined in the AI Content Policy.
Violations may result in removal from events, programs, memberships, promotional opportunities, contests, directories, and related activities
Memberships
Membership participation is governed by the Membership Terms and Refund Policy.
Members are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, managing renewals, and complying with all applicable policies.
Membership benefits are available only while memberships remain active and in good standing.
Events and Programs
Participation in events, expos, festivals, writing sessions, author appearances, artist opportunities, promotional programs, and related activities is subject to compliance with all applicable policies and event requirements.
Creative Slingers of Ink reserves the right to deny, revoke, suspend, or terminate participation when necessary to protect event quality, participant experience, community standards, or organizational operations.
Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and honestly.
Creative Slingers of Ink reserves the right to remove, suspend, or terminate participation for conduct that is:
- Disruptive
- Abusive
- Harassing
- Dishonest
- Fraudulent
- Threatening
- Harmful to the community
- Inconsistent with the mission, values, or policies of Creative Slingers of Ink
Such actions may occur without refund.
Meet the Author Events
Participants selected for Meet the Author events are expected to fulfill their commitments and communicate professionally.
Failure to attend, repeated cancellations, leaving early without communication, or failure to fulfill participation responsibilities may result in removal from future events, promotional opportunities, memberships, or related programs.
Creative Slingers of Ink recognizes that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may occur and will consider such situations at its discretion.
Payments
Payments are governed by the Refund Policy.
By submitting payment, participants acknowledge and agree to the Refund Policy, Membership Terms, and these Terms & Conditions.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Chargebacks and payment disputes are governed by the Refund Policy.
Creative Slingers of Ink reserves all rights outlined within the Refund Policy regarding suspended memberships, revoked benefits, removal from events, reassignment of event spaces, and dispute resolution procedures.
Third-Party Services
Creative Slingers of Ink may utilize third-party services to provide memberships, payments, communications, community platforms, event registration, scheduling, and other business functions.
Creative Slingers of Ink is not responsible for the availability, security, privacy practices, or policies of third-party services.
Limitation of Liability
Participation in Creative Slingers of Ink activities is voluntary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creative Slingers of Ink, its owners, volunteers, representatives, partners, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in its website, memberships, events, programs, services, or activities.
